This is more or less a mirror of my post from Task Fiend’s blog.

Release 11 of Task Fiend may be the last for a while. I canceled my Claude subscription for now. Task Fiend is in pretty good shape. At this point I’m just adding functionality because it’s fun. I may put in some bug fixes ye olde fashioned way, with my own brain and meaty fingers.

I doubt Anthropic has seen the last of me, at which time I’m likely to return to this. I don’t have a specific time at which I’ll resubscribe. I may cave soon. Time will tell.

If you absolutely must have new features, feel free to fork it/put in a pull request. I don’t promise to respond promptly, but I promise to appreciate the effort.
